CAUTION:   

 

   Check that the mains power supply matches the appliance’s electric rating. This is printed on the rating 

label of the ash vacuum. 

   When the appliance is not in use, please remove plug from mains supply. 

   The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or performing maintenance on the ash 

vacuum. 

   Do not remove the plug by pulling the power cord. 

   Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in use. 

   This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or 

mental  capabilities,  or  lack  of  experience  and  knowledge,  unless  they  are  being  supervised  or  given 
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 

   As with all electrical appliances, children should not be left unattended with the Ash Vac. 

   If  the  supply  cord  is  damaged,  it  should  be  replaced  by  the  manufacturer  or  its  service  agent  or  a 

similarly qualified person in order to avoid potential injury. 

   Do not vacuum the following objects: liquids, flammable and explosive material, corrosive material and 

burning ash, matches, or cigarette butts. 

   Do not use the appliance to vacuum dust. 

   Store the appliance in a dry environment. 

   Don’t touch the live parts in the appliance, even when the product is disconnected from the mains power 

supply. 

   Repairs to the appliance should be carried out by the manufacturer or its authorised service agent or 

similarly qualified persons. 

   Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use. 

   Use accessories and spare parts supplied by the manufacturer or its authorised service agent. 

   Only use the appliance to vacuum fireplace, stoves and BBQ’s. Do not vacuum ash with a temperature 

greater than 50°C. Do not vacuum ash and other objects that are not completely extinguished. 

   Only use the filter as supplied with the appliance by the manufacturer. Only use correct replacement 

filters. Do not use filters by any other manufacturer.
