• Keep the air intake free from dust, fluff, hair and anything that
can reduce the airflow.
• Do not vacuum any burning or smoking objects such as hot
ashes, matches or cigarette butts. Do not vacuum any liquids.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner for vacuuming construction
site waste such as cement, gypsum or concrete dust.
• Take extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the air intake dust filter or
exhaust filter is damaged, clogged or not in place. Always use
the correct dust filter.
• The vacuum cleaner should not be used if it or the mains lead
is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
• The vacuum cleaner must only be repaired by qualified service
technicians.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Do not use
the vacuum cleaner if the mains lead or its plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by the manufacturer, authorised service facility or
a qualified tradesman.
• The vacuum cleaner can be used by children aged from
8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the vacuum cleaner and its mains lead out of reach of
children under the age of 8.
• The vacuum cleaner may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or
knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they
have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding
the safe use of the product and understand any hazards involved.
• Never let children play with the vacuum cleaner.
