Service

Replacing heating element

If the heating elements are to be replaced it is unnecessary to dismount the whole
heating unit.

Dismounting

1. Switch off the power to the dryer.

2. Dismount outer back plates:

Top dryer

: only remove the top back plate

Bottom dryer

: remove both back plates

3. Dismount heating box back plates:

Top dryer

: Dismount the bottom back plate

: Dismount the back plate

4. Top dryer: Dismount the fitting

Fig. 3

5. Dismount all wires.

6. Remove the heating elements,

7. Mount the new heating elements.

8. Mount all wires as before, see diagram supplied with the dryer.

Refer to the pictures on the following page.

Finishing replacement

1. Re-assemble the dryer.

2. Connect the power supply.

Function check

Test the dryer, see section 11:
