Removal, Cleaning and Storage
8.1 Removing the Headset
Close out the current file in the software if one is active and exit the program.

The Quick-20 can be rapidly removed from the subject. Disconnect the ear
clips from the subject

s earlobes. Grasp sides the of the Quick-20 with two
hands and lift up. On subjects with thick hair, be gentle as the hair may become
entangled with the sensors. Double check to see if any sensors have been caught
in subject
’
s hair.
8.2 Cleaning the Headset
The headset can be cleaned with the supplied brush with hand sanitizer or 70
percent isopropyl. It is recommended to clean the sensors when there is visible
gel or dirt on the sensors. For routine cleaning, removal of the sensors is not
necessary; the headset is designed to be cleaned with the sensors in place. Wait
at least 5 minutes before using the system to allow the liquids to fully dry.
When cleaning the headset, use only enough liquid to dampen the brush.
Liquid should not be dripping freely from the brush onto the surfaces of the
headset.
