5.3 Starting the Acquisition Software
Have the Cognionics Data Acquisition software installed and ready. Refer to the
software manual for detailed instructions on setup and usage. You can download

Note: This section assumes that you are using the Cognionics Data Acqui-
sition software. If you are using Neuroguide, please refer to the Neuroguide
documentation (http:/ / www.appliedneuroscience.com/ Tutorials.htm) to con-
nect to the Quick-20, perform an impedance check and start recording EEG
data.

(a) Retrieve the Bluetooth Dongle and (b) insert it into your computer
