Brewing Coffee
1. Open the water reservoir and
fi
lter compartment cover.
2. Pour the desired amount of water into the water reservoir. On the water level indication,
you can see how many cups of water you have already poured into the water reservoir.
3. Insert the
fi
lter compartment if it has not yet been inserted.
4. Place the permanent
fi
lter or a paper
fi
lter into the
fi
lter compartment and
fi
ll it with
the desired amount of coffee powder. Make sure that the
fi
lter compartment and
the permanent
fi
lter or paper
fi
lter are inserted correctly so that the water can run
through the
fi
lter without any problems.
5. Then close the water reservoir and
fi
lter compartment cover.
6. Place the glas pot on the hotplate.
7. Move the On/Off button to the
1
position to switch on the coffee machine.
8. The On/Off button will light up and the brewing process will start immediately.
9. After the brewing process, you can take the glas pot from the hotplate and serve
the coffee.
10. Switch off the coffee machine after the brewing process or if you want to switch off
the hotplate using the On/Off button. Move the On/Off button to the
0
position. The
light of the On/Off button goes out when the coffee machine is switched off.
11. Clean the appliance after use as described in the "Care and Descaling" chapter.

lter is hot after use! Allow it to cool down
fi
rst before you remove it
for cleaning.

Never immerse the appliance, the power cable or plug in water.
❐
Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.
❐
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance. These
could damage the surface.
1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off and not connected to the mains power.
2. Open the
fi
lter compartment by folding the water tank and
fi
lter compartment cover
up and pushing the water spout back.
3. Remove the
fi
lter compartment and the permanent
fi
lter or paper
fi
lter and dispose
of the used coffee powder.
