Changing the blade
1. Hold in the spindle lock (17) to prevent the blade (3) rotating.
2. Undo the socket head screw (6) using the allen key (19).
3. Move the blade guard (8) back and hold it using the retracting lever (4).
4. Remove the flange washer (5) and then the saw blade.
5. Attach the new blade in the reverse order. Make sure that it rotates
in the right direction.
Note:
• Make sure that the blade is correctly aligned and centred and that the fixing screw
is tight before turning the saw on.
• There is a washer next to the saw blade, be careful not to lose it when removing
the blade.
Care and maintenance
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Always unplug the saw before making any adjustments or repairs.
• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Keep the motor ventilation openings free from contaminants.
• If the circular saw is not to be used for an extended period, it should be unplugged
and stored in a dry and dust-free location out of reach of children.
