Putting additional oil, up to 12 oz (295 cc), can help clutch life. More than 12 oz  
(295 cc) will degrade engine performance. 

 
NOTE: 

Lean bike over onto it’s left hand side so that the clutch cover is up unless you 
have a squeeze bottle.
