To lock a device to its current IP address
, click the link next to
the device. The device is then locked to the current IP address and
added to the list of locked IP addresses at the top of the page.
To unlock a device from the IP address
, click

Using the network classification table
The network classification table is used to define which network
devices, IP addresses and/or LAN ports are associated with which
network user groups.
Each entry in the table shows MAC address, IP address, LAN port
and network user group.
When a network device is connected, the terminal runs through the
network classification table to check if the new connection matches
MAC address, IP address and LAN port in any of the entries in
the table. When a match is found, the terminal establishes a PDP
context with the settings of the network
user group assigned in the matching entry. The device is now
ready for use with the terminal.
To add a new entry to the table or to edit an existing entry, do
as follows: Select
SETTINGS

The network classification table shows which devices are
associated with which LAN ports and network user groups. An
Asterisk (*) is a “wild card”, meaning that any value is accepted.
Click
Edit
next to the entry you want to edit, or click
Add
at the
bottom of the list. Click
Add
next to a network device you want to
use, or type in the MAC address manually at the top of the page.
Select the
LAN
port and
Network user group
you want to
associate with the device.

group page.
In the
network classification table
, click
Delete
next to the entry
you want to delete.
NOTE!
By means of the Network
Classification Table a Network
devices is associated with one
or more Network User Groups
If you leave a field empty, it is
the same as a “wild card” and it
will be shown as an Asterisk in
the Network classification table.
Unless you are using a Static
IP address, the IP address field
should always be left empty.
