Charging
Note:
The battery is only partially charged when sold and must therefore be charged
before using it for the first time. The battery should be charged for at least 5 hours
the first time it is used.
1. Make sure that the selector (4) is in the middle setting.
2. Carefully slide the screwdriver’s handle backwards onto the holder’s charge pin
until it is securely inserted.
3. Plug the mains charger into a wall socket.
4. The indicator lamp (3) comes on when the battery is charging and goes off when
the battery is fully charged.
• Normal charging takes about 5 hours.
• For optimal performance: Do not allow the battery remain fully discharged for
longer time periods.
• A fully charged lithium-Ion battery will keep its charge for up to six months if it is
not used.
• Do not use the screwdriver when it is connected to the charger.
• Only use the charger supplied.
• Do not leave the charger connected to the power point after the screwdriver has
been charged.
• Do not charge the battery if the ambient temperature is below 5 ºC or over 40 ºC.
• The battery does not need to be completely discharged before charging.
• The charger is for indoor use only.
• During long periods of storage the battery should be charged every 6 months.
Operating instructions
1. The wall-mounted holder has a bits storage holder on its side.
2. Select the proper bit and insert it into the screwdriver’s bit spindle (1).
3. Select the rotation direction using the 3-setting selector switch (4):

Reverse: Press the selector switch in on the left-hand side.

Trigger lock, selector in middle position.

Forward: Press the selector switch in on the right-hand side.
4. Pull the trigger (5) to start the screwdriver and release it to stop the screwdriver.
The screwdriver has two front-facing LED worklights, which automatically light
when the trigger is squeezed and go off 5–10 seconds after the trigger is released.
• The screwdriver has an automatic spindle lock, which allows you to use it as
a manual screwdriver if the batteries have been discharged or the machine is too
underpowered to complete the job. The spindle lock is activated as soon as you
begin screwing the screwdriver manually. Max allowable torque 10 Nm.
• Do not overload the spindle lock.
• Do not squeeze the trigger (5) with the spindle lock activated.
