Troubleshooting guide

The motor
is dead.
1. The power cable is
damaged.

in the apparatus are

3. The on/off switch is faulty.
1. Check the main leads
and change if needed.
2. Remove the cover on
one side of the casing
and check the cable
connections inside.

The motor can be
heard but does
not work.
1. The outward air vent is
completely blocked.
2. You might have put
in the cylinder vent
the wrong way round after
taking it apart and putting
it together again.
1. Clean/open the outward
air vent.
2. Take apart and put in
the cylinder vent the right
way round.
The motor is
working, but is
emitting irregular
or knocking
sounds.
1. The bearings are loose or
damaged.
2. The screws in
the connecting rod
are loose.
1. Change bearings.
2. Tighten the screws, or
change them if damaged.
The spraying
and painting
functions poorly.
Not enough
pressure.
1. The hose connection
is leaking.
2. The air tube is damaged.
3. The screws on the cylinder
top are loose.
1. Seal the connection with
gaffer tape or something
similar.
2. Change air hose.
3. Tighten screws.
The motor is
working, but low
pressure and not
enough airflow.
1. The ventilation or
diaphragm screws are
loose or poorly fitted.
2. The inflow plate is damaged
following extended use at
high pressure.
1. Open the front opening and
tighten the ventilation screws
and set the diaphragm in
the right place.
2. Change inflow plate.
