1.2 Special safety regulations for Log cutters
• Keep hands and fingers at a safe distance from the blade and as with all machine
work, use your common-sense and be careful when you work.
• Make sure there are no people or animals near the machine, sharp splinters may
fly around at high speeds.
• Check that the blade is placed in the right direction, and that the collar and bolt
are tightened.
• Always keep the blade sharpened.
• Always check that the blade is flawless and without cracks before starting
the machine.
• Check that the emergency stop works.
• Always unplug the electrical cable from the wall socket before servicing and
maintaining the machine at work.
• Only use extension cables with a conductor cable area of at least 1.5 mm² for
outdoor use. Unwind the whole cable for better cooling and at the same time look
out for damage to the cable and other equipment.
• Never use the log cutter in rain or extremely wet weather.
• Never use the machine if the electrical cable, power switch, cover or any other part
is damaged; defective parts should be changed by experts.

Regularly check that all screws and nuts have been tightened.
