17. Avoid unintentional start-ups.
Do not carry a machine while your finger is on the power switch if the cable is in
the socket. Make sure the power switch is set to OFF when you put the plug in.
18. Use the correct extension cables.
If you use extension cables outdoors, only use those intended for outside use.
Use extension cables with sufficient conductor lead areas and unwind the whole cable.
19. Use Common sense and be careful.
Think carefully before carrying out an operation, to make sure you perform it safely.
Do not use the machine when you are tired, under the influence of medication etc.
20. Check the following before starting the machine:
- That all covers and other parts are undamaged and fulfil their function.
- That moving parts are able to rotate freely and are correctly aligned.
- That no moving parts can get stuck.
- That no defect has emerged.
- Other circumstances that may affect your work performance.
A cover or some other part that is damaged should be repaired by the panel or
exchanged. Damaged electrical cables and circuit breakers should always be
changed by the manufacturer or its service department. Never use the machine
if you are unable to turn it off or start it up in a safe manner.
21. Use recommended accessories.
Using non-recommended attachments can cause accidents or increase risk
of personal injury.
22. Should only be repaired by qualified technicians.
The machine meets the stipulated safety demands. Repairs to the machine
should always be carried out by experts using original reserve parts; otherwise
the machine may cause accidents or increase risk of personal injury.
