The CLS DMX 4 Channel Dimmer
Dip-Switch Settings:
Dip-switches is a row with small switches that will change the way The CLS DMX 4
Channel Dimmer should work.
Dip-switch nr. 1-9:
DMX start address. This means what is the first channel number on The CLS DMX 4
Channel Dimmer. Remember that the unit use 4 channels.
If you set the first channel as number 1, The CLS DMX 4 Channel Dimmer will use
channel 1-4. The second unit should be set to number 5. The CLS DMX 4 Channel
Dimmer will then use channel 5-8. The next 9, and so on.....up to 512.
Example:
Channel 1=Dipswitch 1 on
Channel 10=Dipswitch 2+4 on
Channel 21=Dipswitch 1+3+5 on
Channel 74=Dipswitch 2+4+7 on
Dip-switch nr. 10:
With this Dip-switch set to on, The CLS DMX 4 Channel Dimmer will dim down the
outputs 10%. It will protect you from blowing the 16A fuse if you are using 4 pcs of
1000W lamps in full power on The CLS DMX 4 Channel Dimmer and take the power
from an 16A outlet.
Dip-switch nr. 11:
This Dip-switch will change The CLS DMX 4 Channel Dimmer to a complete
4x1000W switch-pack. It is useful for connecting light-effect-machines that should not
be dimmed down. 0-49% on the mixer fader gives 0 and 50-100% gives full power.
Dip-switch nr. 12:
Not connected yet. For future new functions.
