Function Beep Status of LED
Power on The HCM-100 beeps
once The blue LED light flickers 5 times quickly.
Power off The HCM-100 beeps
once The blue LED light flickers 5 times quickly
Paring The HCM-100 beeps
twice The red and blue LED light flicker in turn
continuously.
The headset and mobile
phone is connected and
the user is talking on the
headset The HCM-100 beeps
once The blue LED light flickers twice every 5
seconds.
Unintentional link loss
(Until the lost link is
recovered) The HCM-100 beeps
once The purple (blue and red) LED light flickers
once in every 5 seconds.
Charging No beep The red LED is lit
Charging completed No beep The red LED is turned off.
Troubleshooting
This chapter details problems that may occur when using the headset and possible solutions. If you
find the same symptom after trial of the counter plans, inquire to the seller.
Malfunction Checking point Counter plan
Can not turn on the
HCM-100 Make sure the battery of HCM-
100 is fully charged Charge the battery
Make sure the mobile phone
supports the Headset or
Handsfree Profiles. The mobile phone should support
Headset or Handsfree Profiles to use
the HCM-100. Unable to
communicate with
the HCM-100
Make sure the battery of HCM-
100 is fully charged Charge the battery if it is low.
Make sure the HCM-100 is on. Press the multifunction for 2 seconds to
turn on the headset. Unable to pair the
HCM-100 with the
Bluetooth device.
Make sure the HCM-100 is in
paring mode.
With power off, press and hold the
multifunction button for at least 5
seconds for the HCM-100 to be in
paring mode.
Too low or loud
speaker sound Check the speaker volume. Press the VOLUME UP button [ ▲ ] and
the VOLUME DOWN button [ ▼ ] for
volume control.
