WARNING
Disconnect the machine from power before servicing the
machine.
CAUTION
Avoid damage to the machine and protect your warranty by
using only approved lubricants.
IMPORTANT
Before servicing the machine with any of the lubricants
above, consult the manufacturer’s MSDS.
Top Slide Assembly
The top slide gear and worm gear are packed with soft gear grease. Under normal use, these parts
are greased for the life of the machine.
Thrust bearings should be lubricated every 6 months or 500 hours with heavy gear grease.
Always keep chips away from gears, threads, and moving parts of the top slide.
Cross Slide and Base Assembly
Before and after operating the machine, clean the dovetail ways and lubricate with way oil.
Leadscrew Assembly
During operation, frequently clean chips away from the leadscrew with a soft brush. If necessary,
lightly oil the leadscrew.
