The cross-section of the power cable must be chosen according
to the length of the cable and the type of installation, based on
the maximum current input of the air-conditioner (FLA) and so as
to prevent excessive voltage drops (the power supply voltage
must be between ± 10% of the rated value).
- A backup fuse should be fitted upstream of the power
line for short-circuit current up to 10 kA.
