Never refuel the engine when it is hot or running.
2.
Always exercise caution when handling fuel. Ensure caps are tightly fitted to
all fuel tanks and cans.
3.
Wipe any spilled fuel off the unit.
4.
Move at least 3 metres away from fuelling point and ensure that there are no
leaks before starting the engine.
5.
Never store the unit with fuel in the tank - a fuel leak can start a fire.
STARTING A COLD ENGINE
1.
Turn both ignition switches to on position.
2.
Push purge bulb until fuel is visible in clear fuel return line. During initial
start- up from storage or after running out of fuel additional pumping may be
required to circulate fuel through system.
3.
Move choke lever down to closed position and pull start unit until the first
firing sound.
6.
Move choke lever up to open position. Allow engine to warm up for a few
minutes before using.
STARTING A WARM ENGINE
1.
Turn both ignition switches to on position.
2.
Pull start unit.
NOTE
If engine does not start after 4 pulls use cold starting procedure.
STOPPING ENGINE
1.
Move throttle position lever out to allow engine to idle.
2.
Turn ignition switch to off.
WARNING! DANGER
If engine does not stop move choke lever down to closed position to stall
engine. Contact your local dealer before reusing.
