General Operator Safety
Read all manuals carefully and be sure that you understand them before you
start work.
Never refuel the engine when it is hot or running.
Always exercise caution when handling fuel. Ensure caps are tightly fitted to
all fuel tanks and cans.
Wipe any spilled fuel off the unit.
Move at least 3 metres away from fuelling point and ensure that there are no
leaks before starting the engine.
Operate this machine only in a well ventilated area and not to be used indoors.
Make sure there are not pets or other people in the are when starting the
machine.
Do not point the suction pipe at people or animals.
Keep hands and body away from hot surfaces such as silencer and cylinder
area when handling the unit to prevent injury from heat.
Never leave the machine unattended with the engine running.
Ensure that the shoulder harness is fitted correctly, comfortably and is securely
fastened
