3 Initial operation
When charging is finished, the charger automatically shuts off the charging process. LED lights up per-
manently in green.
4 Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if other batteries are used

Use only to charge CLECO lithium ion batteries, order no. 936400PT or order no. 935377.
Never use to charge other battery types.

Connecting the charger to the power network:
LED lights up green and indicates that
power is supplied.

Plug the battery into the charger and make
sure that it is securely connected.
LED
is flashing green, indicating that
charging is in progress.
LED should not be flashing red before it is plugged in. The battery could be damaged.

Disconnect the charger from the power supply, wait about 1 minute and then reconnect.
Fault Cause Measure
LED does not light up despite
functioning power supply
No power supply voltage

Check and restore the power
supply voltage
Power cable defective

Replace power cable
Charger defective

Replace charger
LED goes out when the battery
is plugged in
Faulty charging electronics

Replace charger
LED does not light up / flash
even though battery is plugged in
No battery contact

Plug the battery in again
Contacts are dirty

Clean the contacts of the char-
ger and battery
Battery is damaged

Check battery and replace if
necessary
LED flashes red Battery is damaged

Check battery and replace if
necessary
LED lights up red The temperature in the battery is
too high or < 0°C (32 °F)

Remove battery from charger
and repeat charging after
approx. 10 min
