9.  Loop the black D-ring straps over the cover conduit

and through the slits in the cover.

10.  Center the cover on the frame and secure the D-

Looping Straps Through Cover Slits

11.  On the side of the shelter where you previously

installed ratchets, lift the cover skirt from the outside
to see the cover conduit.

12.  As before, the hem containing the cover conduit

needs to be slit above each ratchet. Repeat Step 8
to cut the cover pocket.

13.  Locate the 3' long 1" wide straps. Feed a strap

through the slits and over the cover conduit.

14.  Feed both ends of each strap down through the

slot in the ratchet and tighten slightly as shown in
Figure 22.

Feeding Strap Ends through Ratchet

15.  Check that the cover is still centered evenly from

front-to-back and side-to-side.

16.  Tighten the outer ratchets first and then the inner

ratchets. If the ratchets need to be released, open
them completely and they will release. Excess

strap can then be pulled through the ratchets and
re-tightened.

SHELTER CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Proper care and maintenance of your shelter is
important. The following items identify areas that must
be periodically checked to ensure that your shelter is
maintained properly:

•

Regularly check the roof covers to see that they
remain tight and in proper repair (if equipped).

•

Check connections and all fasteners to verify that
they remain tight.

•

Do not

climb or stand on the shelter at anytime.

•

Remove debris and objects that can accumulate on
the shelter. Use tools that will not damage the cover
when removing debris, if equipped.

•

Check the contents of the shelter to verify
that nothing is touching the cover that could
cause damage.

•

Check the anchoring system to ensure that all
components are tight and in good repair.

•

If the shelter is moved, inspect all parts and
connections before reassembling.

•

For replacement or missing parts, call
