Setting your Phone

in standby mode, press the 

SEL 

button once, then the lcD will show 

prograM to indicate you have entered the setting mode.

LCd CONTRAST SETTING [SEL 2]

Press  the 

SEL

  button,  then  the

  key,  the  current  level  CONTRAST 

ADJ X[X=1,2,3,4] will show on the LCD. Press the 

 or 

 button to 

get the desired level and press the 

SEL

 button once more to confirm 

and exit.

SETTING THE RINGER [SEL 3]

Press the 

SEL

 button, then the

 key, the current mode RING ON/OFF 

will show on the LCD. Press the   or   button to activate/deactivate 

the  ringer  function.  Press  the 

SEL

  button  once  more  to  confirm  and 

exit. You should hear a confirmation beep.

SETTING THE dATE ANd TImE [SEL 4]

Press the 

SEL

 button, then the

 key, the SET TIME will show on the 

LCD  and  the  month  with  flash.  Press  the 

  or 

  button  to  get  the 

desired month then press the 

SEL

 button to confirm and enter the next 

item (the sequence is MONTH-DAY-HOUR-MINUTE). After the setting 

the correct date and time, press 

SEL

 button to confirm. You should hear 

a confirmation beep.

SETTING THE KEYPAd TONE ON OR Off [SEL 5]

Press the 

SEL

 button, then the

 key. Press the   or   to select Beep 

On or Beep Off then press the SEL button to confirm.

AUTO AmPLIfY SETTING

Auto Amplify ON

To set handset amplifier so that it will aUToMaTicallY return to your 

previous  volume  setting  every  time  you  use  the  handset  without 

having to press the “

AMPLIFY

” button.

simply turn the “

AUTO AMPLIFY

” switch in the battery compartment 

to the on (up) position using the tip of a pencil. When the “

AUTO 

AMPLIFY

” switch is in the on position, you do not need to press the 

AMPLIFY

” button on the side of the handset. on any call, you can 

temporarily turn oFF and turn back on the

 AUTO AMPLIFY 

feature 

by pressing the “

AMPLIFY

” button. When the lED indicator light is 

on the aMpliFY feature is engaged.
