The 900 mHz frequency technology allows cordless 

telephones to:

Operating Range

This  cordless  telephone  operates  within  the  maximum  power 

allowed by the Federal communication commission (Fcc). Even so, 

this handset & base can communicate over only a certain distance 

–  which  can  vary  with  the  location  of  the  base  and  handset,  the 

weather,  and  the  construction  of  your  home  or  office.  if  possible 

locate the base in a high and central location and stay away from 

obstructions  such  as  walls.  it  is  also  recommended  that  the  base 

is  kept  away  from  electrical  appliances  such  as  TVs,  pcs  or  other 

cordless phones.

Using The Headset feature

You can use this telephone hands-free when you connect a 2.5mm headset 

(purchased separately). To connect, plug the headset into the 

HEADSET JACK 

on  the  left  side  of  the  handset.  While  in  the  headset  Mode,  the  volume 

of  the  headset  is  controlled  by  the  telephone  and  the  handset’s  earpiece 

and  microphone  are  disconnected.  Follow  the  procedures  discussed  in 

ANSWERING A CALL

 and 

PLACING A CALL

 when you receive and place a call.

NOTE: 

When you plug the headset into the 

HEADSET JACK

, it auto-

matically mutes the microphone and speaker of the cordless hand-

set. Unplug the headset to return the handset to normal use.
