Replacing the Batteries
It is very important to use 2 AA alkaline (LR6) 1.5v batteries.
If you do not there is a risk the Monitor will not work correctly.
Do not
use rechargeable batteries. You must replace the
batteries as soon as requested to avoid losing information
stored on your Monitor. If the batteries become very low the
Monitor will switch off to save your information. You will
need to replace them before continuing. See page 26.
If you do not replace the batteries as indicated the Monitor
will not have sufficient power and it will need to be
reprogrammed. Reprogramming deletes all stored
information.
If left without power for too long it may reprogram
automatically and when you replace the batteries you will see
the screen requesting you select the language.
When you are ready to replace the batteries,
switch the
Monitor off
, remove the old ones
taking out the negative end
first
. Do not use a sharp implement to remove the batteries.
Replace using the instructions above.
Switch the Monitor
back on
to allow it to do necessary checks.
