Do not use the device if easily
fl
ammable gases are present in the air.
■
Do not touch the device with wet hands. Do not use the device outdoors or in rooms
with a high humidity.
■
Never vacuum up liquids. Do not
fi
ll the dust bin with liquids.
■
Only use the device in dry, indoor spaces.
■
Immediately switch off the device in the event of damage/faults (e.g. unusual noises,
odours or if smoke is emitted).
■
Never carry or pull the device by the cord, always handle the cord with care. Avoid
catching the cord in doors and pulling it across sharp edges or corners. Keep the
cable away from hot surfaces.
■
Only connect the device to a socket, whose mains voltage complies with the data on
the speci
fi
cation plate. The socket must also be easily accessible after the device has
been connected.
■
For your own safety, check the device for damages each time before using it. Only
use the device if it doesn’t exhibit any damages!
■
Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket
–
in the event of a storm,
–
if liquids or debris end up in the device.
■
If you wish to pull the mains plug out of the socket, never pull on the cable, but always
on the plug. Only take hold of the mains plug when your hands are dry.
Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
■
Keep an eye on the dust bin’s
MAX
mark. If the max mark has been reached during
use, empty the dust bin before you continue vacuuming.
■
Empty the dust bin after every use. The
fi
lters must also be cleaned regularly to pre-
vent the motor from being overloaded.
■
After being washed out, the dust bin and the
fi
lters must be completely dry before
they may be reinserted.
■
Only use the device if it has been completely and correctly assembled! The dust bin
and the
fi
lters must be in place and undamaged! Dirt that penetrates the inside of
the device could damage the motor. The dust bin must be shut in order for it to be
inserted properly.
■
Do not insert anything in the openings/nozzle of the device and make sure that they
are not plugged.
■
Only use original spare parts provided by the manufacturer.
■
Never expose the device to extreme temperatures, severe temperature
fl
uctuations,
open
fl
ames, direct sunlight, moisture or wetness.
■
Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
■
Store the device in a dry place at temperatures between 0 and 40 °C.
■
Never cover the vents.
■
Protect the device against heat, open
fl
ames, direct sunlight, moisture and percus-
sions. Make sure there is no risk of the device falling down.
