Cleaning the Device
PLEASE NOTE!
■
No liquid must be allowed to get into the device when cleaning the device.
Only the
dust container and the inner chamber may be cleaned with water. However, they
must be completely dry before they are put back into the device.
■
Never assemble wet or damp components and insert them into the device!
■
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power before it is cleaned.
■
The HEPA exhaust air
fi
lter must not get wet.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device and accessories.
They may damage the surfaces.
• Clean the housing of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe
it dry.
• Regularly remove hair and
fl
u
ff
from the nozzles.
The
fi
lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does not
have any adverse e
ff
ect on function.
Emptying the Dust Container
1. Press the release button (
24
) of the dust container (

) and pull it out of the device
by the carrying handle (
12
).
2. Hold the dust container over a dustbin.
3. Slide the button (
16
) for opening the dust container downwards. The bottom (
15
) of
the dust container will open and the dirt will fall out.
4. Flip the bottom of the dust container shut again. You must hear it engage in place.
Cleaning the Dust Container, Inner Chamber and Cyclone Insert
1. Take the dust container out of the device and empty it (see “Emptying the Dust Con-
tainer”).
2. Turn the lid (

) of the dust container a little anticlockwise and pull it out together with
the inner chamber and the cyclone insert.
3. Hold it over a dustbin, turn the inner chamber a little and take it out.
4. Tap out the cyclone insert and the inner chamber. Also tap out the dust container.
Clean these parts if necessary with a soft brush or a soft cloth.
The dust container and the inner chamber may be cleaned with water. However, they
must be completely dry before they are reinserted!
Assembly
5. Place the inner chamber on the cyclone insert so that the two locking lugs of the inner
chamber are lowered in the appropriate notches in the cyclone insert, and twist to lock
(

).
6. Place the dust container on the lid so that the marker (notch) on the lid points towards
the
symbol on the dust container. Twist it shut until the marker on the lid points
towards the symbol (
Picture J
).
7. Insert the dust container into the device (see “Removing / Inserting the Dust Contain-
er”). It must engage audibly.
