Pull out the two filters, individually, clean and vacuum or discard them.
2.
Install the Second-Stage filter (part # D2000HFC) in lower slot. Make sure that the filter
side marked “Front Side” faces the front of the unit.
3.
Stack the First-Stage filter (part # D2000PFC) on top of the Second Stage filter. Again,
make sure that the filter side marked “Front Side” faces the front of the unit.
4.
Reinstall the grill. Slide the upper end into the grill slots and snap the bottom into place
until it locks.
5.
Place the unit back into its operating position and plug in the power cord.
6.
Using a pushpin or needle, push the pin through the small hole in the RESET button on
the SERVICE panel under the FILTER lights. The filter light will reset to green. This
action will inform the unit that new filters have been installed, and the internal timer will
be reset to zero.
