1). Insert the new UV lamp (part # D2000L) in place and lock in by rotating one-quarter turn
rear-to-top. 2). Reinstall the grill. The aluminum reflector must be positioned over the lamp,
nearest the front of the unit. The angled section of the aluminum reflector will be facing the
back of the unit. WARNING – placing the grill on backwards and forcing the grill into place
may damage the UV lamp and the unit. 3). Using a pushpin or needle, push the pin through
the small hole in the RESET button on the SERVICE panel under the LAMP lights. The
lamplight will reset to green. This action will inform the unit that new filters have been
installed, and the internal timer will be reset to zero.
Cleaning or Replacing the filters
1). Unplug the power cord. 2). Place the unit on its back. 3). Using a flathead screwdriver,
press in locking clip (metal piece) at each end of the front grill while lifting the bottom of the
grill upwards. 4). Remove the grill from the top of the unit
