MIDI IN OUT
Your TB5200 has a USB port. The rectangular plug of the USB printer cable connects to
the matching USB port on your computer, plug the square connector of the USB cable into
the back of the TB5200 keyboard, then you can TRANSMIT and RECEIVE MIDI data to and
from the computer. In this two way MIDI data traffic, both the TB5200 and the computer are
considered to both be MASTER and SLAVE.
The computer can "talk to" the TB5200, and the
TB5200 can "talk to" the computer.A practical example of this would be for the computer to
be used as a sequencer / recording device, where the notes played on the TB5200 will be sent
down the MIDI cable to the computer. This information can be modified on the computer,
sped up or slowed down, and then sent back from the computer to the TB5200 for further
playback. Depending on the computer software, it is also possible to print out the musical
score of the TB5200's performance.
The TB5200 is compliant with Microsoft and Apple OS driver specifications, and as such
is plug and play, and no third party drivers are needed.
