MIDI, the Musical Instrument Digital Interface, is the world-standard communications
interface that allows MIDI-compatible musical instruments and other electronic equipment
to share musical and digital information in order to communicate and control each other. This
uniformity in the MIDI protocol, or language, makes it possible to create "systems" of MIDI
instruments and equipment that offer far greater versatility and control than is available with
isolated instruments.

Your TB5200 MIDI IN connector receives MIDI data
from another external MIDI device which can be used to
control your TB5200. The MIDI OUT connector transmits
MIDI data generated by your TB5200 (e.g. Note and
velocity data produced by playing the keyboard).to other
MIDI instruments, or MIDI compatible computers.
Hint:- This MIDI data can be converted by a computer
into a musical score that can be edited and printed out.

If your PC is not fitted with a special computer MIDI
interface, having 5 pin MIDI sockets, The USB port on
your TB5200 enables your instrument to be directly
connected to a computer, you can receive and transmits
midi data by means of a standard USB printer cable.
MASTER KEYBOARD sends MIDI data to the SLAVE.
Most MIDI keyboards (including your TB5200) transmit
note and velocity (touch response) information via the
MIDI OUT connector whenever a note is played on the
keyboard. If the MIDI OUT Connector (MASTER
KEYBOARD) is connected to the MIDI IN connector of
a second keyboard (SLAVE) synthesizer, or any MIDI
tone generator module, the receiving device (SLAVE)
will respond precisely to notes played on the original
transmitting keyboard. (Called the MASTER keyboard)
The result is that you can effectively play two or more
instruments at once, providing rich and thick
multi-instrument sounds. This Tb5200 also
transmits
program change data when one of
voices is
it's
selected. Depending on how the receiving device is set
up, the corresponding voice will be automatically
selected on the receiving keyboard or tone generator
whenever a voice is selected on your TB5200.
