ATTENTION: Owing to great variations in the level of body fat it is difficult to obtain
a reference value. On average for adult men the best time for the measurement is
between 6 and 8 o'clock p.m. because the level of body fat is very constant during
this period!
Putting into service
Simple Weighing Function
1. Press the on switch (2) to switch on the device. „1234" appears briefly on the
display.
2. You can select the unit of measurement (kg or lb) with the relevant key (6). The
selected unit of measurement will be used also the next time the device is swit-
ched on.
3. After a few seconds „0.0" appears on the display (5). Stand on contact surfaces
(4) of the devices.
4. Your weight is shown on the display (5). After a few seconds the device shuts off
automatically!
Programming your personal data
ATTENTION: Carry out the following operations one after the other and within a
few seconds or the device will automatically interrupt the programming mode!
1. Press the on switch (2) to switch on the device. „1234" appears briefly on the
display.
2. Press the mode key (7) to enter programming mode.
3. The „1" starts to flash on the display (5) Select a memory slot with the arrow
keys and confirm your selection with the mode key (7). All the previous settings
will be overwritten in the selected memory slot!
4. Two symbols (male and female) appear on the display (5). Select your sex with
the arrow keys (1) and press the mode key (7).
