• Check the oil level by means of the corresponding level indicator (2). The oil level (when the
pump is not running) should be at the halfway point of the level indicator.
• To change the oil, remove the plug (1) from the pump for a few seconds (maximum 5-10 seconds!),
drain the oil into a container. Screw the oil drain plug back in and add new oil through the plug (4)
until the normal level is reached (half of the level indicator). Only use specific hydraulic oil to fill
the vacuum pump! Put the oil filler cap (4) in position and switch on the pump for a final check.
• Replace the vacuum pump oil every 120 working hours, or at least once a year. When the maximum
working time is reached, the unit will display the message SERVICE REQUIRED to inform that it is
necessary to carry out an ordinary maintenance service on the unit.
IMPORTANT:
The exhaust oil discharged from the pump is a special waste and as such must be
disposed of in accordance with current regulations.
Warning:
Turn off the unit and unplug it from the electrical outlet before draining the
vacuum pump. Risk of electric shock!
