Instructions for use
Removing the tree
This product is intended for indoor use only.
Product description
1. Gripping claws with wire tensioner
2. Ratchet foot-wheel
3. Release pedal (detachable)
Max length of tree 200 cm (6.5 feet).
Max diameter of tree trunk Ø 8 cm.
• The bottom of the tree must be cut squarely.
• Do not drill holes in the trunk of the tree, doing so will affect
its ability to absorb water.
• Remove all branches from the trunk around the area which
will be gripped by the claws (about 13 cm from the bottom).
• Place the tree stand on a stable and level surface.
Warning:
Be careful not to trap any parts of your body between the wire,
the claws and the tree trunk when the tree is being gripped by
the claws.
Erecting the tree
1. Place the bottom of the tree in the centre of the stand and
hold the tree vertically.
2. Rotate the foot-wheel downwards to tension the wire and
press the gripping claws against the tree trunk. Make sure
that the tree is vertical and stable. If the tree is not standing
vertically, press down the release pedal to slacken the grip
the claws have on the tree trunk, adjust the angle and then
grip the trunk again by rotating the foot-wheel.
3. Lift the release pedal upwards and outwards to detach it
from the stand. Keep the release pedal in a safe place, out
of children’s reach.
4. Fill the water reservoir carefully to ensure that water does
not run out. The max water level is roughly 3 cm from
the top edge of the hole.
1. Attach the release pedal as shown in the figure.
2. Grip the trunk of the tree firmly and press down carefully
on the release pedal to slacken the tension on the wire and
release the grip of the claws.
3. Lift the tree straight up. The tree might need to be jiggled
a little from side to side to release it from the gripping claws.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
