LINE-IN
An external/auxiliary audio device can be connected to the LINE-IN jack (13).
The sound from any docked iPod/iPhone will be disconnected when an external audio
device has been connected. Disconnect the external audio device from the line-in jack
and press [
►
II ] to resume iPod/iPhone playback.
Care and maintenance
• Do not subject the appliance to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperature.
• Do not tamper with or modify the appliance in any way.
• Use a damp cloth to clean the outer casing. Never use solvents or corrosive
cleaning products.
• Keep the appliance away from sources of electrical noise.
Troubleshooting guide
The unit will not
switch on.
•
Make sure the mains adaptor is properly connected
to both the unit and the wall socket.
•
Make sure that the wall socket is live/switched on
and that the adaptor or cable is not damaged.
•
Make sure the ON/OFF switch (11) on the back of
the unit is in the
ON
position.
No sound from
connected iPod/
iPhone.

Check the volume.
•
Make sure that your iPhone/iPod is properly
connected to the dock.
No sound from
connected exter-
nal device.
•
Check the volume level of both the speaker and
the external audio device.
•
Make sure that the device is properly connected to
the LINE-IN jack.
•
Make sure that the connected external device is
turned on and in play mode.
