Instructions for use
Filling the water tank
Important:
• Do not fill the water tank to a level above the “MAX” mark.
• Never add water directly to the base unit; only add water to the water tank.
• Never fill the water tank with water that is hotter than 40 °C.
• Do not pour water into the nozzle of the humidifier.
• Always turn the humidifier off and unplug it from the wall socket before removing or filling the water
tank. Never switch the humidifier on when the water tank is not fitted or if it is empty.
When the water tank has emptied, the humidifier switches off automatically and “NO!” is shown on the display.
1. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.
2. Open the lid and fill the water tank with the desired amount of water. For optimum performance and
for health reasons, use only fresh, cold tap water, free from contaminants. If you are unsure of the
water quality, use distilled water. The water temperature must be between 5 and 40 °C.
3. Close the lid of the water tank and plug the humidifier into the wall socket again. When the water
tank has been filled and the humidifier has been switched on, the message “NO!” may continue to be
displayed for a few seconds until the base unit has been filled to the correct level. A gurgling sound will
be emitted as water passes down through the filter into the base unit. The filter cleans, sterilises and
softens the water.
