Always use the appropriate gas for the material being welded. Three types are
provided by Clarke International, as follows:
Attach the mini gas bottle to the
machine as described in ‘Assembly’
on page 16, then connect up as
follows:
1.
Remove the protective cap
from the cylinder outlet and
screw on the regulator (F),
fully, BUT DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
2.
Simply push the gas hose, at the
rear of the machine, into the
gas regulator outlet, as far as
possible and release. This is a
self sealing coupling.
C. The Gas Supply
A mini gas bottle complete with gas regulator is provided. Should you prefer to use
larger gas cylinders, the appropriate gas regulator and fittings need to be
acquired. Your Clarke dealer will be happy to advise in this regard.
