OPERATION

HEATER START UP

1. Plug the heater into the mains

power supply.

2. Turn temperature control knob to

the desired setting.

3. Set the power switch to the ON

position and the heater will start.

• The ‘power indicator’ LED will

illuminate and the digital
temperature display will light
up.

NOTE:

If the heater does not start up, the temperature control may be set too
low. Turn the control knob to a higher setting until the heater fires up. If
the heater does not start, switch the power switch off, then switch back
on again. If the heater still does not start, refer to Fault-finding guide on
page 13. Also check that the power supply is correct.

NOTE:

The electrical components are protected by a fuse mounted in the
PCB. If the heater does not fire up, return to your Clarke dealer to
check the fuse and repair the heater as necessary.

HEATER SHUT DOWN

1. Set the power switch to the OFF position.

NOTE:

When the heater is shut down, the fan will continue running for 3

minutes to expel hot air and cool the casing.

2. For extended shutdown, unplug the heater from the mains supply.

RE-STARTING THE HEATER

1. Wait 10 seconds after shutting off the heater.

2. Set the power switch to the ON position and follow the startup procedure

above.

AFTER USE

1. Clean the heater and store as described in the Maintenance section.
