5 Troubleshooting

5.3.3 Reinstallation of drivers using the System Restore Point

Use the

System Restore Point

in

MS Windows XP/Vista/7/8

to uninstall

the incorrect drivers.

l

Go to

Start

–

Programs

–

Accessories

–

System Tools

–

System Restore

in

Windows XP

or go to Start, type "System Restore" in the search field and

click on the found item in

Windows 8, 7

or

Vista

.

l

In the

System Restore

dialog use the

Restore my computer to an earlier

time

in

Windows XP

or

Choose a different restore point

in

8, 7

or

Vista

option and press the

Next

button.

l

In the next dialog select a restore point from a time before the incorrect
driver was installed.

Caution:

Any software or hardware that was installed after the moment of the
selected restore point will be removed from your system.

l

Reinstall

Clarity

and then restart the PC.

l

Windows

should now correctly identify and install the drivers.
