5. OPERATIONS
Note:
• Be sure to read this chapter referring to the front diagrams of chapter “ 3. CONTROL S ” on page 5.
Basic Operations
CAUTION
Be sure to lower the volume before
switching off the unit power or the ignition
key. The unit remembers its last volume
setting.
Turning on/off the power
Note:
1. Press the [ SRC ] bu tton to t u rn on the power.
2. Press and hold the [ SRC ] bu tton (1 sec.) to
t u rn off the power for the u nit.
Note:
• System check
The first time this unit is turned on after the wire
connections are completed, it must be checked
what equipment is connected. When the power
is turned on, the “
S Y S TEM CHECK ” appears in
the display, then the unit returns to the clock
display mode. The system check starts within the
unit. Then press the [
S RC ] button again, the unit
turn to the radio mode.
S electing a mode
1. Press the [ SRC ] bu tton to change the
operation mode.
2. Each time yo u press the [ SRC ] bu tton, the
operation mode changes in the following
order:
Radio

(Satellite radio)

CD/MP3/
W MA/AAC

USB/MTP/iPod

Adjusting the volume
1. T u rning the [ ROTARY ] kno b clockwise
increases the v ol u me; t u rning it
co u nterclockwise decreases the v ol u me.

The v ol u me le v el is from 0 (minim u m) to 33
(maxim u m).
S witching the display
Press the [ DISP ] bu tton to select the desired
display.
S ound Adjustment
Yo u can adj u st a so u nd effect or tone qu ality to
yo u r preference.

Setting the BEAT EQ
This u nit is pro v ided with 4 types of so u nd tone
effects stored in memory.
Select the one yo u prefer.

The factory defa u lt setting is “ OFF ”.

1. Press the [ ] bu tton to switch to the
