XM S atellite Radio Operations
This u nit can control the satellite radio recei v er
(XM Mini-T u ner).
Note:
• When the function is differ depending to the
connected receiver, they are distinguished by
the following notations:
“XM”: for an XM Satellite Radio
S electing a S atellite Radio mode
1. Press the [ SRC ] bu tton.
The system changes to the specified
Satellite Radio mode.
S electing a band
1. Press the [ BND ] bu tton to select a b and.
This changes the reception b and as follows:

Information displayed during reception
The following information is displayed when the
satellite radio cannot
b e recei v ed normally.
• W hen the antenna is not b e connected :
“ CHECK ANTENNA ”
• W hen the mini t u ner is not b e connected :
“ CHECK XM TUNER ”
• W hen no signal is recei v ed: “ NO SIGNAL ”
• W hen a channel is b eing t u ned in (no signal is
yet recei v ed): “ LOADING ”
• A channel witho u t a b roadcast has b een
selected: “ OFF AIR ”
• An u n v ia b le channel has b een selected:
“ CH UNAVL ”
• A channel not co v ered b y yo u r contract:
“ UNAUTH ”
Confirming your XM ID
1. Press the [
x
] or [
v
] bu tton to switch to
channel 0.
2. The XM ID N o. appears in the display.
Displaying channel labels
1. Press the [ DISP ] bu tton to select the desired
channel la b el.

5. Press and hold the [ ] bu tton for 1 second
or longer to select the channel.
S etting channel tuning
This f u nction allows yo u to t u ning a channel
directly or indirectly.

The factory defa u lt setting is “ OFF ”.
1. Press and hold the [ DISP ] bu tton for 1
second or longer to switch to the adj u stment
selection display.
2. Press the [
x
] or [
v
] bu tton to select
“ DIRECT ”.
3. Press the [
w
] or [
z
] bu tton to select “ ON ”
or “ OFF ”.
• ON:
Press the [ ] bu tton to switch to another
channel after t u ning operations. Otherwise,
the operation will switch to the other
channel a
u tomatically after 2 seconds.
• OFF:
Press the [ ] bu tton to switch to another
channel after t u ning operations. Otherwise,
the operation will ret u rn to the pre v io u s
channel after 5 seconds.
Channel selection
1. Channels are selected with the [
x
] or
[
v
] bu tton.
For details, see the following operation
descriptions.
Note:
The audio output is muted and other button
operations are not accepted during channel
selection.
