The Cisco uBR10-SRP-OC12SML DPT WAN line card uses a single-mode fiber-optic interface cable
to connect the Cisco uBR10012 router to another router or switch. See
Figure 6 on page 7
.
Single-mode cables are yellow.
Note
Single-mode fiber-optic cables are not available from Cisco Systems.
For SONET or SDH single-mode fiber-optic connections, use one duplex SC-type connector (
Figure 4
)
or two simplex SC-type connectors. See
Figure 5
.

You can use either a duplex fiber cable or two simplex fiber cables between the DPT port line and the
device to which the DPT port line is connected. If you are using an attenuator with the cable, see
Figure 6
on page 7
