It is impossible to book resources after a Cisco TMSXN
upgrade
Sometimes after upgrading from a previous Cisco TMSXN version, you may experience difficulties
booking Cisco TMS resources from Lotus Clients. A typical case is:
1. You create a meeting and book a Cisco TMS resource (room).
2. You do not get an acceptance/decline email message and your meeting is not visible in Cisco
TMS after the expected time has passed (maximum 15 minutes in a default configuration).
There are two potential places to check:
First, check that both Lotus Agents TMS Trigger and Scheduled Synchronizer are enabled and
set to scheduled execution on your Domino Server (default is 5 every minute). Wait (maximum 15
minutes in a default configuration) and verify that bookings are processed.
If the booking is still not processed open
Video Conference Resources
database in Notes as
Administrative user, open
Resources
view, select all resources and execute action
Run
Synchronizer
from the
Actions
menu.
Server connection problems
If you experience Domino connection problems saying that the TCP/IP host not found, this indicates a
general Domino set up problem that is not related to the Cisco TMSXN component. However, testing
indicates that the following steps can solve this issue.
