To Install the Twisted Pair PDU on a Strand-Mounted Surge-Gap Multimedia Tap 

Follow these steps to install the Twisted Pair PDU on a strand-mounted tap.

Attach the grounding wire assembly to the strand wire and the nearest PDU 
access cover bolt. Refer to the following diagram for the location of the 
grounding wire assembly. 

 

 

WARNING:

 

Protect yourself from electric shock and your equipment from damage! 
Certain components can deliver an electrical shock during hot installation.

Push the Twisted Pair PDU onto the back housing of the tap. Refer to the 
illustration in step 3.
