Using the Handset, Headset and Speakerphone

You can use your phone with a handset, headset or speakerphone.

If you want to...

Then...

Use the handset

Lift it to go off-hook; replace it to go on-hook.

Use a headset

Press the headset button

to set the headset mode on or

off. You can use a headset in conjunction with the volume
and mute buttons.

Press the speakerphone button

to set the speakerphone

on or off.

Switch to the headset or
speakerphone (from the handset)
during a call

Lift the handset (without pushing any buttons).

Adjust the volume level for a call

Press the volume button during a call.
