What is in the Cisco Flex 7500 Series Wireless Controller
The following sections describe the features and technologies used by the Cisco Flex 7500 Series
Wireless Controller.
Integrated Management Module
One of the features of Cisco Flex 7500 Series Wireless Controller is Integrated Management Module
(IMM). The IMM combines service processor functions.
The IMM controls the service-processor, monitors, and alerts. If an environmental condition exceeds
threshold or if a system component fails, the IMM turns LEDs on to help you diagnose the problem, alert
you, and record the error in the event log.
The IMM provides remote server management through these industry-standard interfaces:
•
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) version 3
•
Web Browser
For additional information, see the
Integrated Management Module User Guide
.
Light path diagnostics
Light path diagnostics provides LEDs to help you diagnose problems. For more information about the
light path diagnostics, see
Light Path Diagnostics Panel, page 1-20
