Mounting the Access Point

Rooftop Support or Small Mast Diameters

Use this procedure to attach the mounting bracket to the rooftop support or to a mast with a diameter
between 1.25 and 2.75 inches (30.5 to 69.9 mm). For masts other than the rooftop support, use U bolts
that fit the mast in use.

To attach the mounting bracket to the rooftop support or small mast, follow these steps:

Step 1

Position the mounting bracket next to the mounting pole so that the arrow on the bracket points up.

Step 2

Attach the mounting bracket to the mast using two U bolts and four nuts and washers.

Note

If you are using the integrated antenna, loosely tighten the U bolts so you can adjust the access
point horizontally for antenna positioning.
