Binning Mode

Binning function is applicable at each camera mode. (2 modes; 2x2 binning and 4x4 binning)

This mode is valid only when Horizontal 2560pixel Mode and Vertical Partial mode are OFF.

2x2 binning
¾
Two-by-two pixels for each color pixel are mixed and are output as one pixel. Improvement on S/N
is expected.

Effective resolution
：
1280 pixels (H) x 1024 lines(V)
¾
Since the output becomes 1/4 after mixing pixels, the luminance will not be improved.
¾
Time for 1 line is the same as the one at Horizontal 2560 pixels for each camera mode.
However, since the vertical effective lines become 1/2, the frame rate gets faster and exposure
time becomes 1/2.

Not applicable
in conjunction with Horizontal Partial mode and Vertical Partial mode.

4x4 binning
