CR-SEH
Status Indicators
Figure 5 shows the status indicators on the CR-SEHX. The PWR indicator on the front panel indicates
that power is applied to the CR-SEHX. The CR-SEHX does not have a power switch. Power is applied
and removed to the CR-SEHX by connecting and disconnecting the power connector.
The Ethernet LEDs include RXD, TXD and LINK. The LINK LED lights when a valid Ethernet
connection is made. The CR-SEH is set up to use a straight through cable to connect to a PC. If a straight
through cable is used to connect the CR-SEH to other devices through a hub, the CR-SEH must be
connected to the uplink port on the hub. TXD and RXD are indicators of Ethernet data activity. They
indicate the transmission and reception of data over the Ethernet connection. Note that these LEDs can be
active even when the CR-SEH is not communicating with another CR-SEH.
The RF indicators include LINK and XCVR OK. On a slave CR-SEH, the RF Link LED indicates the
CR-SEH has established a connection with the master CR-SEH. When a slave CR-SEH is powered on, it
will take a few seconds for this LED to turn on. On a master CR-SEH the RF Link LED is on as long as
any one Slave is linked. The XCVR OK LED on the CR-SEHX when on indicates the remote radio of the
CR-SEHX is operating properly.
