Select the
GENERAL
tab at the top of the screen.

In the
WIRELESS NETWORK SETUP
– Wireless field, click the bubble
next to
ENABLE .

In the
WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS
– Wireless Network Name (SSID)
field, enter the name you would like to assign to your wireless network.
Scroll down to the SECURITY LEVEL section.
ፘ In the SECURITY MODE drop down list, select WPA-PSK .
ፘ Un-check the box next to Generate password automatically.
ፘ In the PASSWORD field, enter your desired password: Your password
must be between 8 and 63 characters long, and use lower-case letters,
uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters to ensure that your
password is secure.
NOTE: Spaces and underscores cannot be used in the creation of your
password.
ፘ Click APPLY to save your changes.
NOTE: Some older computers or devices may not support the WPA-PSK
encryption typically used by your ZyXEL router. If this is the case or you
experience issues with the process above, you can also select a less-
secure WEP option from the
SECURITY MODE drop down list. In order to do
so, follow STEPS 1-4 above and then drag the blue ball to the yellow BASIC
portion of the security bar.
