Verify that the switch (Picture 10 position 2) is on

” position (turned on).
Lay the left hand on the cover of the engine and the
left foot on the frame to avoid any movement of the
machine.
With the right hand pull slowly the starting handle
(Picture 1 pos.4) until you feel a small resistance;
then without leaving the handle, pull with a short
and strong hit; if you pull too loosely, you could
flood the engine.
When you hear the first stroke of the engine raise
the choke lever

in horizontal position (as in the
Picture 14) till hearing a click.
Pull the starting handle one more time to start the
engine.
Keep the engine at idle speed for at least one minute before accelerating to the
maximum power.

ARNING
Never pull the handle completely till the end because this might damage
the spring inside the starter.
Don’t release the handle suddenly but guide it slowly in its seat so the
rope wraps up again correctly.
